Scope:

• The following specifications cover design, materials, maintenance and installation of BELL Privacy Paneling.

General:

• Sections are 8' nominal in length and include 21 vertical panels, required number of horizontal rails and necessary hardware for assembly.
• Appearance of privacy paneling installation is identical on both sides, with no "front" or "back" facing differences.

Design:

• Paneling is designed as a horizontal rail and vertical roll formed panel construction to be assembled into sections of 8' nominal lengths.
• Panels are to be joined at vertical mounting posts anchored in 3' of concrete.

Materials:

• Vertical roll formed panels are 0.017 minimum ASTM A653 Grade 80 E Full hard steel, 80,000 pound minimum P.S.I. Quantity 21 per 8" section.
• Horizontal rails are 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" x 92-7/16", 0.074 minimum steel.
• Quantity 2 per 8' section for sections 8' or less in height.

Materials (Continued):

• Quantity 3 per 8' section for sections 10' and 12' in height.
• Posts are 3' in length in excess of panel height to allow in-ground anchoring.
• For lengths up to 9' posts are 2.875" or 4" in diameter, 8 guage post 50,000 psi.
• For lengths up to 11' to 12', posts are 4" in diameter, 8 guage post 50,000 psi.
• For lengths 13' and over, posts are 4" in diameter, schedule 80.
• Fasteners are to be drive nails, bolts, and rivets as required, all corrosion resistant.
• Top channels (4' and 5' high sections, optional on other heights) are 0.017 minimum ASTM A653 Grade E full-hard steel, 80,000 pound minimum P.S.I. And standard on all residential privacy fence.
• Sections are shipped and disassembled. All materials and hardware required for installation (excluding concrete) are provided with each 8' section.

Finish:

• Horizontal rails and posts are galvanized to G-90 ASTM A-527 specifications. Vertical panels are galvanized to G-90 specifications.
• Panels are bonded with Kynar high performance Fluorocarbon color coating, oven-baked over a primer coat. Finish colors may be Canyon Brown, Polar White, or Bronze.
• Horizontal rails, posts, gates, and all hardware, with the exception of nuts and bolts, are finished with oven-baked polyester powder coat paint.

Sizes:

• Available standard panel heights are 4', 5', 6', 8', and 10' & 12' . Assembled panel sections are 8" long.
• Individual roll formed panels are 5" wide.

Gates:

• Gates are available as single gates, double drive gates, single rolling cantilever gates and double rolling cantilever gates.

Maintenance:

• BELL Privacy Fence is virtually maintenance free.

Installation:

• BELL Privacy Fence is to be installed according to printed installation directions provided by BELL.
